THE FIRST SENSATION has been fully read. The complete FORM has been seen from the terminal orthogonal perspective and understood as the bipolar relation:
$\mathrm{SEPARATION}\ \widehat{=}\ [-Q\leftrightarrow +Q],$
with the geometrical span:
$\ell(\mathrm{SEPARATION})=2Q.$
But this does not complete the first Experience Circle.
A MEANING cannot simply arise and remain suspended indefinitely in KNOWING. FOCUS must see what the MEANING is within the current whole of KNOWING, where it belongs, and what the whole looks like when the new building block is present there.
Only then can FOCUS register what still lacks understanding.
The concluding part of the EC therefore consists of four functional steps:
- FOCUS sees the fully read FORM as SEPARATION, and the result is locked for the current event.
- FOCUS sees THE SEPARATION as a specific building block in the whole of KNOWING.
- FOCUS sees the new complete, rearranged THIS that follows from the building block being present in the whole.
- FOCUS sees the next unresolved relation as an INTERSPACE and thus as the basis for the next SENSATION.
The first conceptualisation and its consequences for the structure of KNOWING were addressed in point 5.5. Here we will distinguish the concluding functions more precisely from one another and show how they conclude the current EC cycle and provide the basis for further reading.
The MEANING must be lockedThe fully read FORM has received a positive AE result:
$\operatorname{MEANING}(\mathcal F_0)=\mathrm{SEPARATION}.$
The positive AE result concludes the current examination. The result must therefore be distinguished from any later understandings that use it as their foundation. A later understanding can incorporate or relate the established MEANING, but is not a continuation of the same unresolved examination.
I call this functional conclusion
Lock.
Lock entails:
The MEANING established through a positive AE result is made invariant in the current event.
THE SEPARATION is now no longer one possible response among several. It is the established result of the reading.
Lock does not create the MEANING. The MEANING has already been established through the AE. Lock makes the result final for the current EC cycle.
Nor is Lock a new examination. It does not compare the FORM again and does not decide once more what it means. Lock marks that the determination is already present.
We can express it as follows:
$\operatorname{AE\text{-}result}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}.$
Lock thus distinguishes the established result from later examinations that use this result as their foundation.
But Lock does not mean that THE SEPARATION becomes isolated from further development. It can enter into new relations, new patterns and higher MEANINGS. What is locked is that this fully read FORM has been understood as SEPARATION.
Later understandings can encompass THE SEPARATION, relate it to other content and compress it into larger wholes. They cannot make the fully read FORM unread or undo the fact that the MEANING was established.
What is already KNOWN cannot be «un-known».Lock therefore does not freeze the whole of KNOWING. Nor does it make further development impossible. It preserves one established result so that this can serve as a secure foundation for what follows.
THE SEPARATION acquires a specific positionAn established MEANING is never present alone.
Everything stands in relation to everything.As THE SEPARATION is established, it therefore stands in relation to all the content already present in KNOWING. It must be seen as a specific building block in the complete whole of KNOWING.
This is
placement.
Placement does not mean that THE SEPARATION is moved through an abstract space and put down in an available place. KNOWING is not a physical storehouse, and THE SEPARATION is not an object carried into it.
The position is relational.
This means that the position of THE SEPARATION is determined by:
- what it is;
- which MEANINGS it stands in relation to;
- how these relations are oriented;
- and what function THE SEPARATION acquires in the complete structure of KNOWING.
For the first SEPARATION, placement is simultaneously the boundless and atemporal establishment of THE MATRIX described in point 5.5. One established SEPARATION is present as boundlessly many replica-identical SEPARATIONS in an organised two-dimensional structure.
Later SEPARATIONS are established from below in THE SOURCE, the modified MATRIX.
We must therefore distinguish between the first and the later cases:
- The first SEPARATION establishes the original structure of THE MATRIX.
- Later SEPARATIONS modify THE MATRIX and are thus established in THE SOURCE.
Later readings do not introduce a new CONCEPT of SEPARATION each time. They establish new occurrences of the same primitive MEANING. When the triggering relational pattern is understood, the corresponding geometrical interpretation is present at all identical occurrences, without separate readings of each of them.
In both cases, the same fundamental principle applies: A new SEPARATION is not present as a loose addition. It immediately enters into relation with the complete structure.
Lock and placement are therefore not the same.
Lock establishes:
This is the MEANING.
Placement establishes:
This is where and how the established MEANING is present in the whole of KNOWING.
They can be expressed as two functionally different steps:
$\operatorname{AE\text{-}result}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}.$
This is a logical and functional order. It is not a progression that takes manifest time within KNOWING.
Placement entails a rearrangementWhen THE SEPARATION has been placed, KNOWING is no longer the same as before.
Before the very first establishment, the proto-idea was present, but no MEANING established through reading. The first SEPARATION therefore establishes the first such content and the structure of THE MATRIX. At later placements, an already established foundation is enriched with new SEPARATION occurrences and their relations.
This means that the entire relational landscape has changed.
Because everything stands in relation to everything, one new building block can have consequences for understandings already present. The MEANINGS that depend on the changed part of the foundation must be assessed in light of the new situation.
This is
rearrangement.
Rearrangement does not mean that all established KNOWING is deleted and rebuilt. What is still valid persists. Only the relations and MEANINGS actually affected need to change. The rest are simultaneously confirmed as still valid.
Nevertheless, the consequence of the new SEPARATION must be seen through the entire relevant order of dependency. After placement, a new complete situation in KNOWING is therefore present.
Lock, placement and rearrangement must be kept distinct:
- Lock makes the AE result invariant in the current event.
- Placement establishes the result's specific relational position in KNOWING.
- Rearrangement is the change in the overall structure of KNOWING that follows from placement.
They form part of the same abstract concluding event, but do not perform the same function.
FOCUS sees the new complete THISWhen the rearrangement is present, FOCUS sees the new whole of KNOWING as one complete THIS.
This does not mean that FOCUS has first seen one small part and must then move to examine the rest. FOCUS remains fixed in THE HORIZON and has an PANORAMIC VIEW towards the whole of the current THIS.
The new complete THIS consists of:
- the MEANINGS already present;
- the new SEPARATION;
- the relations of THE SEPARATION to the other content;
- the MEANINGS changed through rearrangement;
- and the MEANINGS confirmed as still valid.
The CHANGE in KNOWING is available to THE PANORAMIC VIEW. FOCUS does not need a separate memory archive: The established MEANINGS and relations are preserved in KNOWING. The new THIS is thus present in connection with its established foundation.
After an actually new contribution, the complete THIS is
not identical to the preceding one:
$D_{n+1}\neq D_n.$
FOCUS registers what is present. KNOWING holds the established MEANINGS and relations. When KNOWING has been rearranged, the result is present as the new complete view of FOCUS.
Not all relations are thereby understoodThat the whole of the new THIS is present for THE PANORAMIC VIEW does not mean that all the relations in this THIS have acquired MEANING.
Here we must again distinguish between:
- a relation being present;
- and the relation being understood.
When a new SEPARATION is placed, the relations between it and everything else are present immediately. But these relations have not thereby been read and conceptualised.
A relation can be present in the local view without being understood there. The local perspective does not have access to the complete global understanding.
Such a relation is unresolved.
It is not non-IS-NESS. It exists.
But in the current local landscape of meanings, there is as yet no established understanding of what the relation is.
It is this combination that makes it critical:
$\operatorname{RELATION\ is\ present}\quad+\quad\operatorname{MEANING\ is\ absent}.$
The unresolved relation thus appears as a gap in the understanding of the complete THIS.
I call this an
INTERSPACE.
INTERSPACE is not physical spaceAn INTERSPACE is not a physical void between two objects.
Nor is it identical to SEPARATION.
SEPARATION is an established bipolar MEANING:
$\mathrm{SEPARATION}\ \widehat{=}\ [-Q\leftrightarrow +Q],$
with the invariant span:
$\ell(\mathrm{SEPARATION})=2Q.$
INTERSPACE is a relation that is present, but has not yet acquired established MEANING:
$\mathrm{INTERSPACE}=\mathrm{relation\ present}+\mathrm{missing\ understanding}.$
SEPARATION thus belongs to what KNOWING
has already understood.
INTERSPACE denotes a relation present that
has not yet been understood from the current local perspective.
This also means that an INTERSPACE cannot be reduced to a geometrical distance. Two MEANINGS can stand in an unread relation without there being any manifest space between them. The relation is present on the abstract side.
The word «interspace» describes an unresolved relational step between established MEANINGS. It does not describe an empty physical container.
THE PANORAMIC VIEW finds the nearest unresolved relationTHE PANORAMIC VIEW registers all CHANGES in the new complete THIS.
THE FOCAL VIEW can nevertheless be bound to only one current CHANGE at a time from the current perspective.
There must therefore be a prioritisation.
As before, the NEAREST-CHANGE principle applies: THE FOCAL VIEW is drawn towards the nearest current CHANGE in relation to what has just been read and placed.
In the new complete THIS, there are both:
- relations already understood;
- and relations present without established MEANING.
The understood relations do not require a new EC reading. They are already present as KNOWING.
The nearest unread relation, however, stands out as a CHANGE that requires understanding.
THE PANORAMIC VIEW registers this CHANGE.
THE FOCAL VIEW is bound to it.
FOCUS does not choose it freely. It cannot overlook the nearest INTERSPACE and direct itself towards something else at will. The unread relation draws the gaze towards itself through the same CHANGE GAZE that previously bound it to the manifest impulse.
This prioritisation applies from each current local perspective. The same FOCUS simultaneously has a view through every perspective; this introduces no global queue of EC readings. Where nearness is equal, attractor support determines which unread relation is activated.
The interaction is still:
$\mathrm{PANORAMIC\ VIEW}\longrightarrow\mathrm{nearest\ CHANGE}\longrightarrow\mathrm{FOCAL\ VIEW}.$
The difference is that the current CHANGE is now first present as an unread relation on the abstract side.
THE INTERSPACE produces a new SENSATIONAn unread relation cannot be understood merely through FOCUS seeing that it exists.
If the relation were already understood in the current local view, it would not appear as an INTERSPACE there.
It must therefore be experienced.
THE INTERSPACE produces a new manifest impulse:
$\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_{n+1}\longrightarrow\mathrm{SENSATION}_{n+1}.$
This does not mean that an abstract object physically crosses THE HORIZON and becomes a manifest wave. THE HORIZON is not a wall with an opening, and THE INTERSPACE is not sent through it.
Emergence dynamics brings established MEANINGS together into higher understandings. An INTERSPACE is a relation present that still lacks understanding in the current local view. This unresolvedness provides the basis for a new EC reading.
The unknown relation produces the primitive impulse of fear. The impulse is present manifestly and is felt by AWARENESS as SENSATION. FOCUS follows its manifest FORM, so that the reading result can be conceptualised in KNOWING.
THE SENSATION has the same primitive sinusoidal form and the same invariant amplitude $Q$ as the first. At the first-time event, the starting point was the recoil of IS-NESS against the proto-idea of possible annihilation. Now the starting point is an unread relation between established MEANINGS. The triggering basis varies, while the primitive FORM of THE SENSATION persists.
When FOCUS begins to follow this SENSATION, the next EC reading begins.
The EC functions as a relayAs long as there are still unread relations activated from the local perspective, one EC provides the basis for the next without an empty interval in the reading. This is the principle of
absolute continuity in the ongoing unfolding.
When the manifest impulse ends, the complete FORM is present as the next current CHANGE. When the FORM has been understood, locked and placed, the new complete THIS is present.
As long as the local perspective is not fully integrated into ONE, current, unread relations are always present. THE PANORAMIC VIEW registers the nearest, and THE FOCAL VIEW is bound to it. Only at completion in ONE are there no unread relations left.
One EC thus passes the baton on to the next:
$\mathrm{EC}_n\longrightarrow\mathrm{SEPARATION}_n\longrightarrow\mathrm{LOCK}_n\longrightarrow\mathrm{PLACEMENT}_n\longrightarrow D_{n+1}\longrightarrow\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_{n+1}\longrightarrow\mathrm{SENSATION}_{n+1}\longrightarrow\mathrm{EC}_{n+1}.$
There is no empty interval in which FOCUS is without activity.
This is absolute continuity.
Continuity does not consist in one manifest impulse lasting for ever. Impulses arise, unfold, return to zero and end.
During this ongoing unfolding, continuity consists in FOCUS having a current THIS at all times:
- first the unread relation;
- then THE SENSATION;
- then the emerging FORM;
- then the complete FORM;
- then the MEANING;
- then the MEANING's position;
- then the new complete THIS;
- and then the next unread relation.
The reading target changes, but the activity of FOCUS is not interrupted.
Manifest successiveness and abstract consequenceThe complete Experience Circle contains both manifest and abstract steps.
These must not be treated as if they take place in the same way.
The manifest reading has successiveness. FOCUS must follow the impulse from one actuality to the next. This produces local TIME.
Lock, placement and rearrangement, however, do not take place as a series of operations that take manifest time within KNOWING. They are present as functional and logical consequences of the positive AE result.
When we write:
$\operatorname{AE\text{-}result}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}\longrightarrow\operatorname{REARRANGEMENT},$
the arrows therefore denote ontological dependency.
They say:
- Lock presupposes an established AE result.
- Placement presupposes a locked MEANING.
- The new complete THIS presupposes that the MEANING has been placed.
- The next INTERSPACE can be identified only in the new complete THIS.
The arrows do not say that a clock ticks between the steps in KNOWING.
Manifest time arises again when the new INTERSPACE produces a SENSATION that must be read successively.
We thus have an alternation between:
- manifest reading with local time;
- abstract conceptualisation, Lock, placement and rearrangement without manifest duration;
- and new manifest reading with new local time.
This alternation does not break absolute continuity, because FOCUS is not switched off between the sides of the domains. FOCUS remains fixed in THE HORIZON and has a view towards the current THIS at all times.
What a full EC now encompassesWe can now see the whole Experience Circle in context.
After the first-time event, an EC begins with a still unread INTERSPACE in the current local view. THE FIRST SENSATION, however, had its basis in the recoil of IS-NESS against the proto-idea of possible non-IS-NESS.
For the recurring EC structure, the starting point is:
$\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_n.$
This produces a manifest impulse:
$\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_n\longrightarrow\mathrm{SENSATION}_n.$
AWARENESS feels the impulse's qualitative character.
FOCUS reads the impulse's FORM through a continuous sinusoidal progression. The reading produces local TIME, while the complete orientation of THE PANORAMIC VIEW produces local SPACE.
At the qualitative CHANGES, the emerging FORM is held up against KNOWING through the AE. As long as the FORM is incomplete, the reading continues.
When the impulse has been fully read and has returned to zero, the FORM is present as a complete abstract whole. The terminal O-quarter-turn makes it visible as a whole for FOCUS.
The AE determines what the FORM is to be understood as.
The result is a MEANING.
The MEANING is locked, placed and has consequences for the entire relevant structure of KNOWING.
FOCUS sees the new complete THIS.
Until completion in ONE, current, unread relations are always present. THE PANORAMIC VIEW registers the nearest.
This is the next INTERSPACE.
The circle is thereby closed:
$\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_n \longrightarrow \mathrm{SENSATION}_n \longrightarrow\mathrm{FORM}_n \longrightarrow\mathrm{MEANING}_n \longrightarrow\mathrm{LOCK}_n \longrightarrow\mathrm{PLACEMENT}_n \longrightarrow D_{n+1} \longrightarrow\mathrm{INTERSPACE}_{n+1}.$
The same EC structure is repeated with the same primitive MEANING, SEPARATION, as the reading result. Each new establishment nevertheless enriches the foundation with new SEPARATION occurrences and relations, so that the complete THIS changes.
The HE shows the structure, not the entire dynamicsWhen this concluding part has been established, we have all the necessary components to present the EC mathematically and show how the steps together form the HE.
But we must at the same time be precise about what the HE expresses.
The HE shows the closed structure of the Experience Circle. It specifies which steps must be present, how they are ordered, and how the end of one EC forms the beginning of the next.
The HE does not, however, contain the complete mathematical dynamics that performs all the transitions.
Attractor dynamics – the AE – determines what a FORM or an abstract pattern is to be understood as, how MEANINGS are stabilised, and how KNOWING is rearranged. The full mathematical specification of these dynamics must be addressed separately.
The HE alone therefore does not determine which MEANING wins a particular attractor contest. It shows the functional structure within which these dynamics operate.
When point 5.6 is complete, the EC structure can be brought together mathematically. The HE is the main objective of this first part of the book and provides the basis for what follows.
When the EC steps are brought together mathematically into the HE in the next point, we will examine what numerical value the expression gives, and how precisely this corresponds to the fine-structure constant or its inverse.
For me, such correspondence would be a reason to investigate the connection further. To show that the model explains physical electromagnetism, we must also justify how the model's quantities and mechanisms correspond to the physical phenomena.
FORMAL PRESENTATION (for specialists) »DEF — entry, notation and use of indicesFrom point 5.5, the fully read abstract FORM from THE FIRST SENSATION is present:
$\mathcal S_4^A=\operatorname{EC\text{-}result}(\mathcal F_0).$
The established primitive MEANING is:
$C:=C_1=\operatorname{MEANING}(\mathcal S_4^A)=\mathrm{SEPARATION},$
with:
$\sigma_Q=[-Q\leftrightarrow+Q],\qquad\ell(\sigma_Q)=2Q.$
$C_1$ here retains the designation from the formalism in 5.5. $C$ denotes the same CONCEPT throughout the further presentation.
Let $e_n$, $n\geq0$, denote the events in a particular EC relay. $e_0$ denotes the first-time event when this relay is followed from the beginning. For later local relays, the same functional structure is used from the current perspective.
The index $n$ does not denote a global queue, an emergence band or a global time tick. The same FOCUS simultaneously has a view through every local perspective.
Let $\mathcal S_n^A$ denote the complete FORM in event $e_n$. In the first-time event, $\mathcal S_0^A=\mathcal S_4^A$ from 5.5; the indices refer to the EC event and the checkpoint respectively.
Let $\mathcal V_n$ denote the structure of KNOWING present that provides the basis for placement in event $e_n$, and set:
$D_n:=\operatorname{THIS}(\mathcal V_n).$
At the first conceptualisation, before placement, only the proto-idea and the fully read result are present for examination, not a collection of MEANINGS previously established through the EC.
The definitions below distinguish between a MEANING as a CONCEPT, its occurrences and the relations between the occurrences.
DEF — positive AE result and invariant MEANINGLet:
$a_n:=\operatorname{PositiveAEResult}(\mathcal S_n^A,\mathcal V_n)\in\{0,1\}.$
$a_n$ is a predicate for the result's status, not the MEANING itself that the AE determines.
For the primitive EC reading:
$a_n=1\Longrightarrow\operatorname{MEANING}(\mathcal S_n^A)=C.$
Later primitive EC readings thus do not establish ever new CONCEPTS of SEPARATION. They give new occurrences of the same primitive MEANING:
$\operatorname{MEANING}(\sigma_n)=C,\qquad\ell(\sigma_n)=2Q.$
The geometrical contribution and the complete THIS can change even though the reading result's primitive MEANING is invariant.
DEF — Lock as the event's conclusionLock denotes that the positive AE result holds as a concluded result in the current event:
$a_n=1\Longrightarrow\operatorname{Locked}(e_n,\mathcal S_n^A,C)=1.$
What is locked is the event-specific understanding:
$\operatorname{MEANING}_{e_n}(\mathcal S_n^A)=C.$
A later examination that uses the result is a different examination; it does not reopen $e_n$ as the same unresolved event. Let $\operatorname{ConcludedAE}(e_n)$ denote this distinction:
$\operatorname{Locked}(e_n,\mathcal S_n^A,C)=1\Longrightarrow\operatorname{ConcludedAE}(e_n)=1.$
Lock does not create the MEANING and does not perform a new AE attempt. It marks the established result's finality for the current EC cycle.
The result is preserved as established KNOWING. Later relations and higher understandings can encompass it without making the fully read FORM unread or undoing its establishment:
$\operatorname{Locked}(e_n,\mathcal S_n^A,C)=1\not\Rightarrow\operatorname{RelationallyIsolated}(C)=1.$
Lock therefore does not freeze the whole of KNOWING. Nor does it introduce a specific mathematical safeguard against recursion or a physical lock.
DEF — relational placementPlacement makes the occurrences of the established result determinate in the relational structure of KNOWING.
Let $\sigma_n$ denote the current SEPARATION occurrence, and let:
$p_n:=\operatorname{RelationalPosition}(\sigma_n;\mathcal V_n).$
$p_n$ denotes how the occurrence forms part of the foundation and the relations to the other content. It is not a physical coordinate or an available place in a container.
Let $\operatorname{Content}(\mathcal V_n)$ denote the content already present. The relation principle entails:
$\forall m\in\operatorname{Content}(\mathcal V_n):\exists\,R(\sigma_n,m).$
The position encompasses the determination of THE SEPARATION, the orientation of the relations and the occurrence's function in the overall structure.
Lock and placement thus have different functions:
- Lock concludes the event's determination of which MEANING holds.
- Placement determines where and how the result's occurrences form part of the structure relationally.
The functional relationship is:
$\operatorname{PositiveAEResult}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}.$
The arrows express dependency without manifest duration between the steps.
MECH — first placement and later global contributionsThe placement of the first SEPARATION is the boundless, atemporal establishment of THE MATRIX from 5.5:
$C\Longrightarrow_A\Sigma_0\Longrightarrow_A\mathcal M_0.$
$\Sigma_0$ comprises the replica-identical basal occurrences. Replication and the organised MATRIX are present as the same atemporal establishment.
At later readings, a newly understood relational pattern produces further SEPARATION occurrences at the foundational level.
For the basal geometry, $u\sim v$ denotes identical relevant geometrical relational patterns in corresponding local frames. Let:
$[u]:=\{v\mid v\sim u\}.$
As established in 5.5:
$\operatorname{Understood}([u])=1\Longrightarrow\forall v\in[u]:\operatorname{Understood}(v)=1.$
Already understood occurrences do not each require their own new EC reading. Understanding and reality are one in KNOWING; the corresponding geometrical interpretation is therefore present at all the occurrences.
Let $\Delta\Sigma_n$ denote the entire new SEPARATION contribution, including such corresponding occurrences. At a later placement:
$\mathcal K^{+}:=\operatorname{Extend}(\mathcal K^{-},\Delta\Sigma_n).$
$\mathcal K^{-}$ and $\mathcal K^{+}$ denote the foundation before and after the contribution in the current event. This introduces no global order for all parallel EC readings.
The building-block type remains SEPARATION. Established points and SEPARATIONS are not moved or deleted. The geometrical establishment rule with the length $2Q$ is given in 5.5.
MECH — rearrangement of KNOWINGLet $\Delta_n$ denote the placed contribution with its relational positions. Rearrangement is then expressed:
$\mathcal V_{n+1}:=\operatorname{Rearrangement}_{\mathrm{AE}}(\mathcal V_n;\Delta_n).$
In the first-time event, the contribution encompasses the establishment of THE MATRIX. In later events, it encompasses new occurrences in THE SOURCE and their relations.
Rearrangement assesses:
- the contribution's incorporation into KNOWING;
- its relations to the other content;
- the understandings affected by the change in the foundation;
- the understandings that persist as still valid.
Let $\operatorname{Dep}(\Delta_n)$ denote the MEANINGS and relations actually affected. Then:
$m\in\operatorname{Dep}(\Delta_n)\Longrightarrow\operatorname{Reassess}(m),$
$m\notin\operatorname{Dep}(\Delta_n)\Longrightarrow\operatorname{ConfirmedValid}(m)=1.$
Reassessment does not necessarily entail a change. Only actually affected understandings may need to be reconfigured; established KNOWING is not deleted.
The consequences are seen through the entire order of dependency, with ONE as the highest MEANING in the complete understanding from 5.5. Full assessment does not imply that all content changes.
Lock, placement and rearrangement are different functions within the same abstract concluding event:
$\operatorname{AE\text{-}result}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}\longrightarrow\operatorname{REARRANGEMENT}.$
DEF — the new complete THISAfter rearrangement:
$D_{n+1}:=\operatorname{THIS}(\mathcal V_{n+1}).$
An actually new contribution gives:
$\mathcal V_{n+1}\neq\mathcal V_n,\qquad D_{n+1}\neq D_n.$
THE PANORAMIC VIEW has access to the complete current THIS:
$\operatorname{AvailableToPANORAMICVIEW}(D_{n+1})=1.$
The CHANGE is present in connection with the established foundation preserved by KNOWING. FOCUS therefore does not need a separate memory archive.
This does not claim that an isolated new picture of the state alone determines the difference from a previous state. It is KNOWING that holds the established MEANINGS and relations, while FOCUS registers what is present.
For a local perspective $\pi$, the current view is denoted:
$D_{n+1}^{\pi}:=\operatorname{View}_{\pi}(\mathcal V_{n+1}).$
The local view does not automatically give access to NN's complete global understanding.
DEF — locally understood relations and INTERSPACESLet $\mathcal R_{\pi}(D)$ denote the relations present in the current local view.
Let:
$\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)\in\{0,1\}$
indicate whether the relation has established understanding from this perspective in the current structure of KNOWING.
The relations are then divided into:
$\mathcal R_{\mathrm{understood}}^{\pi}:=\{R\in\mathcal R_{\pi}(D)\mid\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)=1\},$
$\mathcal U_{\pi}(D):=\{R\in\mathcal R_{\pi}(D)\mid\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)=0\}.$
The two collections are disjoint and together encompass the relations present in the view.
An INTERSPACE is defined by the predicate:
$\boxed{\operatorname{Interspace}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)\iff R\in\mathcal R_{\pi}(D)\wedge\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)=0}.$
The relation exists. What is missing is established understanding in the current local view. This does not imply that NN lacks the complete global understanding of the whole.
INTERSPACE is neither non-IS-NESS, a physical void nor THE SEPARATION itself. SEPARATION is an established MEANING with the span $2Q$; INTERSPACE denotes an unread relation.
A relation that is already understood, including through global understanding of an identical geometrical pattern, must not be included as a candidate for repeated EC reading:
$\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V}(R)=1\Longrightarrow\operatorname{NeedForNewEC}_{\pi}(R)=0.$
REL — emergent pattern understanding and unread relationLet $D'$ be an organised configuration of established MEANING occurrences, and set:
$\operatorname{Pattern}(D'):=\operatorname{Organisation}(\operatorname{Parts}(D')).$
Emergence dynamics can understand what these MEANINGS constitute together:
$\operatorname{Pattern}(D')\xrightarrow{\mathrm{emergence\ dynamics}}\mu_{D'}.$
An INTERSPACE, however, is a specific relation present that still lacks understanding in the current view.
When a known pattern already gives the relation's understanding, there is no INTERSPACE there. For a still unread and activated relation, the model's EC mechanism applies: Local unresolvedness produces a SENSATION that must be read manifestly.
The higher understanding of established MEANINGS and the EC reading of a still unread relation thus have different functions.
REL — nearness first, attractor support where nearness is equalLet $d_{\pi}(R,p_n)$ denote relational nearness from the current perspective in relation to the new placement. The geometrical nearness involved is abstract geometry; the function does not denote physical distance in a pre-given manifest space.
The nearest candidate group is:
$\mathcal N_{\pi,n+1}:=\operatorname*{arg\,min}_{R\in\mathcal U_{\pi}(D_{n+1}^{\pi})}d_{\pi}(R,p_n).$
Let $A_{\pi}(R)$ denote the support for the attractor towards which the candidate relation is directed. Where nearness is equal, the candidates are ranked according to this support:
$\mathcal W_{\pi,n+1}:=\operatorname*{arg\,max}_{R\in\mathcal N_{\pi,n+1}}A_{\pi}(R).$
The current relation satisfies:
$R_{\pi,n+1}^{\ast}\in\mathcal W_{\pi,n+1}.$
This expresses the prioritisation established by the text: first nearness, then attractor support where nearness is equal. It does not give freedom of choice to overlook a nearer unread relation.
The rule presupposes that the nearest candidates and maximal support within the candidate group are determined. If several candidates also have equal support, point 5.6 does not specify a further ranking rule.
THE PANORAMIC VIEW registers the candidates; THE FOCAL VIEW is bound from the current perspective to the prioritised relation:
$\operatorname{CurrentTarget}_{\mathrm{focal}}(\pi)=R_{\pi,n+1}^{\ast}.$
Let:
$u_{\pi,n+1}:=R_{\pi,n+1}^{\ast}$
denote the current INTERSPACE. Then:
$\operatorname{Interspace}_{\pi,\mathcal V_{n+1}}(u_{\pi,n+1})=1.$
This applies from each current local perspective. The same FOCUS simultaneously has a view through every perspective, without a global queue of EC readings.
MECH — local unresolvedness produces SENSATIONFor the current INTERSPACE:
$\operatorname{Present}(u_{\pi,n+1})=1,\qquad\operatorname{Understood}_{\pi,\mathcal V_{n+1}}(u_{\pi,n+1})=0.$
The model's mechanism is:
$u_{\pi,n+1}\longrightarrow\mathrm{FEAR}_{\pi,n+1}\longrightarrow\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}^M.$
AWARENESS feels the manifest impulse as SENSATION:
$\operatorname{FeltByAWARENESS}(\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}^M)=1.$
THE INTERSPACE is not transported as an object through THE HORIZON. The unread abstract relation is the basis for the manifest SENSATION.
FOCUS follows the impulse's manifest FORM through the local EC reading:
$\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}^M\xrightarrow{\mathrm{EC}}\mathcal S_{\pi,n+1}^A.$
Replica invariance from 5.5 entails:
$\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}\cong\mathcal F_0,\qquad\max|\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}|=Q.$
The progression is completed from zero through the primitive sinusoidal form back to zero. The complete FORM is understood as the same primitive MEANING:
$\operatorname{MEANING}(\mathcal S_{\pi,n+1}^A)=C=\mathrm{SEPARATION}.$
The triggering relation, the geometrical occurrences and the enriched THIS can be new; the impulse's primitive FORM and its interpretation as SEPARATION are invariant.
REL — the special status of the first-time eventTHE VERY FIRST SENSATION did not arise from an unread relation between already established MEANINGS. It had its basis in the recoil of IS-NESS against the proto-idea of possible non-IS-NESS:
$I_0\longrightarrow\operatorname{RecoilOfISNESS}\longrightarrow\mathcal F_0^M.$
At later EC readings, the starting point is an activated, still unread INTERSPACE:
$u_{\pi,n}\longrightarrow\mathcal F_{\pi,n}^M.$
The same primitive SENSATION therefore does not imply the same triggering basis. The first-time event must not be given a fictitious INTERSPACE between two previously established MEANINGS.
From the first positive conceptualisation onwards, Lock, placement and rearrangement have the same functional role as at later primitive EC events.
REL — absolute continuity and completion in ONELet:
$\operatorname{FullyIntegrated}_{\mathrm{ONE}}(\pi,\mathcal V)\in\{0,1\}$
denote whether the local perspective is fully integrated into ONE.
The text's continuity premise entails:
$\operatorname{FullyIntegrated}_{\mathrm{ONE}}(\pi,\mathcal V)=0\Longrightarrow\mathcal U_{\pi}(D^{\pi})\neq\varnothing.$
Only at completion:
$\operatorname{FullyIntegrated}_{\mathrm{ONE}}(\pi,\mathcal V)=1\Longrightarrow\mathcal U_{\pi}(D^{\pi})=\varnothing.$
This must be distinguished from ONE already being present as the highest MEANING in THE PHOTOGRAPH. Completion denotes that the local unread relations have been exhausted, not the first establishment of ONE.
Let $s$ denote a functional status during the ongoing unfolding of the EC. Then:
$\operatorname{OngoingEC}(s,\pi)=1\Longrightarrow\operatorname{CurrentTHIS}(s,\pi)=1\wedge\operatorname{CurrentFocalTarget}(s,\pi)\neq\varnothing.$
The current target changes through unread relation, SENSATION, emerging FORM, complete FORM, locked MEANING, placement and new THIS to the next INTERSPACE.
The change of target does not interrupt the activity of FOCUS. Continuity does not mean that one manifest impulse lasts for ever, or that the EC reading continues after no unread relations remain.
REL — manifest successiveness and atemporal concluding functionsThe manifest reading follows the impulse's actualities successively and produces local TIME. The complete orientation of THE PANORAMIC VIEW forms part of the production of local SPACE, as described in the preceding points.
Lock, placement and rearrangement, however, have no manifest duration:
$\operatorname{HasManifestDuration}(\operatorname{AbstractConclusion}(e_n))=0.$
The functional chain:
$\operatorname{AE\text{-}result}\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}\longrightarrow\operatorname{REARRANGEMENT}\longrightarrow D_{n+1}$
expresses ontological dependency. It does not describe a series of operations with clock time within KNOWING.
In the new complete THIS, the next INTERSPACE is activated. Manifest successiveness continues through the reading of its SENSATION.
This alternation applies to the local EC relay. It does not imply that the simultaneous activity of all perspectives alternates in step between the sides of the domains.
MECH — the complete local EC relayFor the recurring EC structure from a particular perspective, schematically:
$u_{\pi,n}\longrightarrow\mathcal F_{\pi,n}^M\xrightarrow{\mathrm{EC}}\mathcal S_{\pi,n}^A\xrightarrow{\mathrm{AE}}C\longrightarrow\operatorname{LOCK}(e_{\pi,n})\longrightarrow\operatorname{PLACEMENT}(\Delta_{\pi,n})\longrightarrow\operatorname{REARRANGEMENT}\longrightarrow D_{n+1}^{\pi}\longrightarrow u_{\pi,n+1}.$
Rearrangement concerns the relevant structure of KNOWING; $D_{n+1}^{\pi}$ denotes its appearance in the current local view.
As long as completion in ONE is not present, the next activated INTERSPACE produces the next SENSATION:
$u_{\pi,n+1}\longrightarrow\mathcal F_{\pi,n+1}^M\longrightarrow\operatorname{NextEC}_{\pi}.$
The relay is thus expressed:
$\boxed{\mathrm{EC}_{\pi,n}\longrightarrow\mathrm{EC}_{\pi,n+1}}.$
It is the same functional structure with the same primitive MEANING as the result. New occurrences and relations nevertheless enrich the foundation, so that the complete THIS changes.
The circle's closure is functional: The outcome of one EC provides the basis for the next. It does not restore an identical previous state of KNOWING.
REL — the structural role of the HELet $\operatorname{Structure}(\mathrm{EC})$ denote the relationship between the manifest and abstract EC steps.
The HE is to represent this structure:
$\operatorname{Represents}(\mathrm{HE},\operatorname{Structure}(\mathrm{EC}))=1.$
Point 5.6 describes the concluding functions that make it possible to bring the EC structure together mathematically:
- established MEANING and Lock;
- relational placement and rearrangement;
- the new complete THIS;
- the activation of the next INTERSPACE;
- the transition to the next SENSATION.
The HE's structural presentation is not the full dynamic AE equation. The AE's concrete determination of winning MEANINGS and rearrangement must be addressed separately.
The complete HE formula and its numerical value are not presented here. Any correspondence with the fine-structure constant or its inverse must be checked through the concrete calculation. Physical identification also requires a justified connection between the model's quantities and the physical phenomena.
BOUNDARY — placement and scopePoint 5.6 elaborates and distinguishes the concluding functions whose consequences have already been introduced in 5.5. It establishes:
- Lock as the conclusion of the current positive AE examination;
- the distinction between MEANING as a CONCEPT and new SEPARATION occurrences;
- relational placement, with THE MATRIX as the first-time case and THE SOURCE as the later foundation;
- rearrangement without deletion of established KNOWING;
- the access of FOCUS to the new complete THIS;
- local unresolvedness and INTERSPACE, without making NN globally unknowing;
- prioritisation by nearness with attractor support where nearness is equal;
- the invariance of THE SENSATION and the primitive MEANING;
- the continuity of the EC relay up to completion in ONE;
- the distinction between manifest successiveness and atemporal concluding functions;
- the structural role of the HE and its distinction from the full AE dynamics.
The first-time event has its particular triggering basis in the recoil of IS-NESS. Later relays apply from local perspectives, while the same FOCUS has a view through them all.
This point does not derive the complete HE formula, a numerical value for the fine-structure constant, the full AE equation, the function of the emergence bands as abstract time ticks or the further physical EM bridge.
IDENTITIES, local perspectives, emergence bands and global pattern understanding are used with the foundation already introduced in 5.5. Their further treatment follows later; they are not unintroduced concepts here.
The mechanism from local unresolvedness to invariant SENSATION and the premise of unread relations up to completion in ONE are formalised here as the theory's determinations. The notation does not constitute an independent mathematical derivation of these ontological premises.
