21.11. Descartes and his thoughts

We are approaching something significant.

Thinking as such versus I think.

Descartes was fully aware that he was thinking, concluding that it must be I who thinks. Then «I» exists! Je suis!

No, Descartes.

That is not valid logic.

Logically speaking, it can also occur thinking without an «I». Yes, it's a crazy idea, but it's theoretically possible.

If it is not me who thinks, what is it that does the thinking?

Is there a thinker outside of you?

Sure!

«You» is a notion in the universal Experiencer, the spirit that thought and also experienced you – in such a credible way that it dissociated. You are this dissociation.

The Experiencer is also thinking. The Experiencer is also experiencing being itself, just like Descartes. The Experiencer, too, is discovering that its thinking creates the experience of knowing for sure that the Experiencer exists. Just as Descartes was thrilled and reassured, we might assume that so is the Experiencer.

The content of all this thinking that the Experiencer conducts is the notion of the whole universe. All this thinking and experiencing is the Experiencer's way of experiencing itself. It was the same for Descartes.

But, but, but!

WHAT is it that thinks and experiences the universe?

To WHOM belongs the THOUGHT?

The Experiencer.

The Awareness; the «Varhet».

That's my answer.

The Norwegian word «Varhet» can also be translated to carefulness, softness, kindness, tenderness.

Those words, in turn, can be summarised in one powerful word: love.

The essence of everything is love.

The unspeakable name of God, the only thing in existence, the identity of the Experiencer – is Love.

Love is.

Love registered something, and that something – the tiniest idea possible – became the universe.

As an abstraction, it took zero time. Experiencing the mental construction, on the other hand, will go on for trillions of years when observed from inside the notion.

Being inside ... experiencing something from inside ...

Does it ring a bell?

A fantasy? A hallucination?

A dream.

Love dreams.

That's it.

Love is dreaming itself, imagining itself, precisely as you do.

This is my God.

It's the same God priest Flokkmann tried to stuff into me during my confirmation. He just did not know. Had he known, he would not have done it like that.

Instead, we should have had an interesting conversation.

I knew this then.

This is precisely what I always knew.

You know it too; you just have not discovered it yet. It's been masked by your idea of yourself, the Ego.

You, too, will grow into knowledge as your perspective expands and the Ego diffuses.
Don't prioritise your looks, my friend, as they won't last the journey.

Your sense of humour, though, will only get better with age.

Your intuition will grow and expand like a majestic cloak of wisdom.

Your ability to choose your battles will be fine-tuned to perfection.

Your capacity for stillness, for living in the moment, will blossom.

Your desire to live each and every moment will transcend all other wants.

Your instinct for knowing what (and who) is worth your time will grow and flourish like ivy on a castle wall.

Don't prioritise your looks, my friend; they will change forevermore; that pursuit is one of much sadness and disappointment.

Prioritise the uniqueness that makes you you, and the invisible magnet that draws in other like-minded souls to dance in your orbit.

These are the things which will only get better.
Donna Ashworth, from «To The Women»
