53. Stabilisation as the origin of reality

In the EC/HE theory reality does not arise because there exists a fundamental material substance that subsequently acquires properties. The manifest appears when relations in KNOWING are stabilised through the Experience Circle and persist as experience.

What we experience as particles, objects, identities, bodies and the physical world consists not of things in any absolute sense, but of stabilised patterns of experience that are maintained through resonance, Attractor Dynamics and continuous manifestation.

It is the stability of the relations to everything surrounding something that makes it appear as “solid”, “stable” and “real” — not a hidden material substance in itself. We see this everywhere in nature. An atom exists only as long as the relations between its structures are maintained stably. A person is experienced as the same individual over time because identity, memories and bodily patterns are continuously reorganised around stable attractors. Even societies, languages and cultures exist only through lasting relational stabilisation among enormous numbers of focal points.

The more stable a relational structure is, the more real, massive, solid and lasting it appears in experience. What physics describes as matter can thus be understood as highly stabilised experiential states rather than as substance in itself.

Reality therefore appears not primarily as matter, but as stabilised experience manifested through the horizon between KNOWING and qualia.
