3. AWARENESS (VARHET)
The fundamental property of BEING is AWARENESS.
AWARENESS is not an activity performed in addition to BEING or THE EXPERIENCER. It is the same ontological reality regarded as an inherent receptivity to differences and changes — inseparable from BEING itself, not a property it has, but a property it is.
As long as no change is registered, AWARENESS appears only as a potential for experience. When a change is registered, this potential is actualised as focus, observation and further experience. AWARENESS itself does not change — it is the condition that remains constant while experience arises and passes.
AWARENESS is therefore not experience itself, but the condition that makes experience possible. Not a sense, not a process, not a state — but that which makes it possible for anything to be registered at all.
AWARENESS is the inherent experiencing nature of BEING.
