5.3.1. Focus, movement and observation

Having established how experience, understanding and manifestation arise, the theory now returns to one of its most fundamental mechanisms: FOCUS. It is through FOCUS that the relational whole of KNOWING becomes an experienceable world. Without FOCUS, there is no sequence, no observation and no experience of movement.

This section describes how FOCUS functions as the driving force behind all experience, how the experience of movement arises through sequential focusing, and why observation cannot be understood as the passive registration of an already-finished reality. FOCUS, movement and observation prove to be different facets of the same underlying process.

The points that follow thus elaborate the horizon between KNOWING and manifest experience. Here it is described how the timeless relational whole emerges as a dynamic world through the threshold of observation, and how what is experienced as time, change and movement arises as consequences of the Experiencer’s continuous focusing.
