2.4. ERFAREREN (THE EXPERIENCER)
The fourth term is ERFAREREN — Norwegian for the Experiencer.
Erfaring means experience in Norwegian — not as a curriculum vitae, but as the lived process of encountering and integrating. ERFAREREN is the principle that experiences: not a person, not a god, not a psychological subject — but the unnamed, propertyless pointer that is always already present whenever anything is experienced. It cannot be named without being misnamed. It has no qualities of its own. It is what remains when everything experienced is set aside.
In this book, ERFAREREN appears as the Experiencer, with the understanding that this translation is approximate. The Norwegian term is kept in key passages where precision matters.
